  2. Merry Christmas to you Arlene!! Your home looks beautiful! Love your antipasto tray and the lasagna. I think lasagna is a great Christmas dish. Yours looks extra cheesy with lots of layers :D

  3. I like the idea of adding boiled eggs to the antipasto...it's not something we do. Is that a spinach noodle on the lasagna or do you have pesto along with tomato sauce in it. Looks great.

All the best to you and your family in the new year.

  4. Thanks, Kim, for your nice comments. Joan, this is spinach lasagna (homemade) with bechamel and a Bolognese sauce. I first made it last spring with the Daring Bakers. It's time consuming, but so worth it. The antipasto is my "foul weather version." With the threat of bad weather, I didn't make it to my favorite Italian deli for all the usual toppings. We've always added hard boiled eggs. My SO's daughter's grandfather put oranges and tuna in his. I was thinking last night of a future post collecting lists of ingredients that people use. I find it fascinating what a variety I've already seen and eaten. Happy New Year's to you and yours.

  6. Hi Arlene

Your home is decorated so festively, and your Christmas dinner looked so delicious!

I made a "Feast of the 7 Fishes" for Christmas Eve and Christmas day we spent at my older brother's home as he has the most grandchildren.

Today we were happy eating leftovers! :-)
